Apple OSX Setup Instructions (PDF)

This will explain how to configure OSX to use the Georgia Tech LAWN. This does not cover wireless cards that rely upon vendor-specific configuration utilities.

LAWN Configuration for OSX

NOTE: You should be able to search for wireless connections and find GTwireless. If not, try these steps:

1. Disconnect the network cable.
2. Turn on wireless.
3. From the wireless menu in the menu bar, select "Other..." (Tiger) or "Join Other Network..." (Leopard)
4. Enter GTwireless for the network name.
5. Select "WEP 40/128-bit hex" for wireless security.
6. Enter the key. If you do not have the WEP key, you may get from the LAWN SSID and WEP key webpage
7. Click OK.
8. Open Safari.
9. Log in to LAWN.
