Apple iPhone Setup Instructions (PDF)

This will explain how to configure the iPhone to use the Georgia Tech LAWN.

LAWN Configuration for iPhone

NOTE: You should be able to search for wireless connections and find GTwireless. If not, try these steps:

1. Access the home screen (use the physical button at bottom).
2. Tap "Settings."
3. Tap "Wi-Fi."
4. If it shows Wi-Fi as "OFF," tap (or slide) the switch to turn it ON.
5. Tap "Other..." in the "Choose a Network..." listing.
6. For "Name," enter GTwireless.
7. Tap "Security."
8. Select "WEP" from the listing.
9. Tap the "Other Network" button at top.
10. A "Password" field now appears. Enter the LAWN key. If you do not have the WEP key, you may get from the LAWN SSID and WEP key webpage.
11. Tap the "Join" button at bottom right. The phone should connect to LAWN within a few seconds.
12. Press the home button to return to the home screen.
13. Tap "Safari."
14. Visit a webpage. The LAWN login screen should appear.
