This will explain how to configure the Sony PlayStation 3 to use the Georgia Tech LAWN.

NOTE: You should be able to search for wireless connections and find GTwireless. If not, try these steps:

  1. To connect to LAWN you will need to go to "WLAN Settings" and select "Enter Manually."
  2. The SSID is "GTwireless."
  3. WLAN security is WEP.
  4. Enter WEP key. If you do not have the WEP key, you may get it from the LAWN SSID and WEP key webpage.
  5. For the IP Address setting, choose "Automatic."
  6. Choose "Do Not Set" DHCP Host Name.
  7. Choose "Automatic" DNS Setting.
  8. Choose "Automatic" MTU Setting.
  9. Choose "Do Not Use" proxy server setting.
  10. Keep Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) enabled.
  11. When you go to test the connection (required), you will get an error page. If the connection test is able to obtain an IP address but it unable to acquire an Internet connection then simply hit "Back".
  12. Open up the PS3 Internet Browser, which will automatically redirect to the LAWN Login Page. You may login as you would normally do on your wireless computer.
