Local Area Connection (LAN) Info

Campus student residences are equipped with Internet connection ports and cabling for students' personal computers. To set up your connection, you are required to register your computer with the appropriate administrative group, ResNet for a residence hall or EastNet for a sorority or fraternity residence.

To connect your computer to the Internet from a student residence, this is what you need:

• Computer that meets Student Computer Ownership (SCO) requirements
configured to use DHCP.
• Network port and Ethernet cable in your campus residence.
• Register your computer with either ResNet or EastNet via STAR^3T
